How can we help?

Straight answers about the trainer, its rules, and the information stored on your iPhone.

Casino Strategy Trainer is an independent educational blackjack decision trainer with optional simulated play. It never accepts real-money wagers, sells chips, awards prizes, counts cards, provides live-table assistance, or links to casinos.

Common questions

How do I remove my progress?

Open Settings in the app and choose Reset all practice data. This removes sessions, attempts, saved mistakes, tutorial position, and All Strategy coverage from the device.

Why does the recommended play differ from another chart?

Blackjack strategy changes with table rules. The first release supports six- and eight-deck, 3:2 games where the dealer hits soft 17, double after split is allowed, the dealer peeks for blackjack, and surrender is unavailable. Do not use this chart for a different rules profile. See the complete chart and source record.

Why did a correct play lose?

Basic strategy recommends the correct play for the supported rules and available information. It cannot guarantee that a particular hand wins or remove the house edge.

Is the Just Play bankroll real money?

No. Every Just Play session starts with $1,000 of simulated money used only to demonstrate blackjack wagers and payouts. It cannot be purchased, withdrawn, transferred, or exchanged for a prize.

How does Mistake Mastery work?

An incorrect decision is added to your mastery queue. The queue repeats saved decisions until you answer each one correctly. Mastery attempts do not rewrite the accuracy of the original session.

Is my progress uploaded?

No. Practice data stays on the device. The app has no account, cloud service, advertising, or analytics SDK.

What does Share diagnostics include?

The optional report includes the app version, iOS version, selected rules, storage status, and aggregate progress counts. It excludes card history and is shared only when you choose a destination in the iOS share sheet.

How much does the app cost?

The first release is free, with no subscriptions or in-app purchases.

Does it support Android?

Not currently. The first release is designed for iPhone and requires iOS 17 or later.
